Chain-of-custody Transparency
Zenfoil does not use dark patterns to encourage you to make purchasing decisions that are not in your own best interests. While Apple and others are now offering additional privacy features like encrypted storage, they do not explain that since they hold the keys, you don’t control your own data.
Zenfoil methodology is transparent. How your data is stored, what kind of encryption, etc, is not withheld from customers, and Zenfoil will work with you to understand our entire privacy framework.
Cookies
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

How long we retain your data
Your data and its metadata are retained indefinitely. For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, you own your data 100% and can access it freely and use it as you see fit at all times. Any administrative data we keep can be exported to file if required. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. Your data will not be shared with anyone. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. Any illegal usage of your data can negate our obligation to keep you data private if requested by authorized legal action. Zenfoil.ca has no copyrights or ownership rights to customer data.
Where your data is sent
Nowhere. We specifically are not affiliated with any other commercial organization. All information moving thru and domiciled in the Zenfoil infrastrucure is private and encrypted. When your data leaves our network, for instance, Email by it’s public nature, will go through pubic networks beyond the control of Zenfoil.ca. Mail sent thru Offramp is relayed through mail.baby which uses automated spam detection methods. Using this type of service guarantees widest delivery possible. Microsoft in particular has very high rejection rates necessitating the use of an high availability relay. Email in 2022 should be for legacy communications only. There are many encrypted replacements that should be used for sensitive information.
